Happy Birthday Kaden!

Kaden turned 6 years old and decided he wanted a monster truck cake. Isn't this nice!!!! I tried to frost and decorate this in a matter of about 5 minutes or less. I didn't leave myself much time. He didn't seem to mind too much that I did a horrible job. Good thing kids are so forgiving!!
This is the day after his birthday. Kyleigh was hanging out in the bouncer. I caught a half smile from her on camera but her chubby cheeks kinda got in the way! So we settled for this picture of her. She is still a super cuttie!
Here is Branden with one of Kaden's new presents. Thanks Grandma for the cool gun set!! The boys have been playing with it non stop. They are obsessed with the glasses and think that it makes them look so cool.... However you really do need them to protect your eyes. These guns shoot extra well.
Kaden on another cool present. Thanks Grandma for the cool pogo stick. The boys picked this up right away. At 8 am the next morning after getting it what do I hear in the garage. Yes, you know the sound that a pogo stick makes. Maybe I should try it out and maybe I could tone up and loose a few pounds. (Most likely I would just break a bone or something.)
These are the battling brothers. Literally. They have been shooting each other for hours with no end in sight.
What an awesome birthday Kaden had. Thanks everyone for all the fun gifts!!

A New Little Addition!

This is the boys starting their masterpiece for their new cousin.
This is an incomplete picture of the finished product. They had tons of fun coloring in the letters.
This is Austin with his new cousin Bryson. What a doll!
You can't really tell from the photo but he looks like he had his hair cut to perfect lengths but that is just because he is perfect!
This is a picture of Mom and baby with only hours of being home from the hospital. Good luck getting some sleep tonight!!!

We are so excited to add a cousin on my side of the family. This is the first one!! It seems so crazy to see my sister with a child, but I can already tell that she will be a great mom!! Welcome to the world Bryson.

Blessings and Changes

This was this Sunday. We decided at the last minute that we had better bless Kyleigh before she was a year old. (Or so it seems, she is growing up so fast and is already 7 weeks old today). Her dress even though beautiful is really a pain to have her in. Dresses just get in the way too much!!
At home I asked Jared to hold her so I could get a picture of them together and he thought he would be funny. I told him to stop and he kept doing it, so I took a picture. We have a nice one too but I thought he deserved this one on the blog!!!
At our house it is a tradition that when Grandpa Keetch comes over the boys have him write their name on their feet. Normally it is just pen but Branden complained that it hurt so he moved to sharpie. Now if we ever loose him they don't need to know their names!!
The boys around the table for a little ice cream treat in their pj's. We love this time change cause they now get showered and pjs on all by themselves at like 6:30 cause it feels so late to them. We won't encourage time reading at our house cause that means we can tell them it is bed time at 8:00 and they don't ask questions!! Ha Ha.
Just another picture of Kyleigh. This is where she spends most of her time thoughout the day.

Well I said in my title blessings and Changes. Well after our baby blessing we had a special meeting at church that said they were changing the boudries of our ward and stake. Our ward was chopped up the most with our 1 ward being split to 5 different wards. We are really sad to not be with the same people that we have become good friends with. However, we are excited to get back many of the people we had to leave when we moved. Everything in life even though sad at times is a blessing and most of the time those blessings come with change. We welcome this one only because we know we will still see all those that we have to leave behind!

Fun Times!

A couple days before Halloween Kaden lost his first tooth! He was so excited. And just today he lost his second tooth. So now he has a big hole in his mouth for a straw. (Or so he says)
Our trees are not yet that big and yet the boys found every last leaf in our yard and were out there playing in them with their friends. They were having a great time. Even though it was almost dark we had to let them keep playing.
A little late in coming I know. This was our Halloween night after all the fun of Trick or Treating. A lady gave out the plastic fangs and all the boys thought this was the most fantastic thing they could have gotten. It also kept them from eating too much candy.
Austin was playing around with his Bronco wig. He made sure that everyone who looked at him that he was a basketball fan not a football fan.
What a scary scarecrow. He was trying to scare everyone with his teeth all night long!!
