We were lucky to get these pictures due to the battery not wanting to work!After checking out the weather report we decided that we should go to Silver City early in the morning cause at 3pm it was going to start raining. So... we got up early and went and not long before we arrived the rain started coming down!!! It was terrible! We got there and all the kids were ready to be out of the car. We were glad that we brought coats and such! We just got out and decided we better enjoy the day!
Kaden found a stick and stared playing in the creek and throwing in rocks!
Kyleigh got packed around and while we scouted out and discovered the fun things in this old mining ghost town!
The kids found the 1 little shop that is open with Grandma Keetch!
Grandma and Grandpa Keetch joined us on our trip and Grandma taught the kids about the different kinds of rocks around. They found lots of crystals and Quartz!
The family hanging on the the iron rod!! Notice the path is a little unsteady! All the more reason to hold to the rod!!!! We had a fun Memorial day!

What a neat town - we never ventured up there. Looks like you had some weather like we do here, but still enjoyed yourself. Fun stuff!
