Austin's Baptism Day!

This is at the church right before Austin was to be baptized. He was so excited all day waiting for this moment to happen.
Austin and Dad dressed and ready to go to the waters of baptism. Austin practiced with Dad many times at home on how this process would go and of course Jared scared him saying he would be under the water for like 30 seconds. Austin was pleasantly surprised to see that he was down and up very quickly.
Here is our little family not looking so little anymore. Austin who is our big 8 year old now and Kaden who looks as big as Austin and Branden with his tongue hanging out and mom growing by the second. Dad is the only one staying the same.... or so we think!!!
After the baptism and confirmation we all headed to our house for a wonderful meal of Navajo Tacos!! We only eat them when we have large groups like this at home and Grandma Keetch to make the bread dough for us. Thanks Grandma Keetch! It was great bread and turned into wonderful rolls and cinnamon rolls with the leftovers. Thanks to all the family who traveled and made the time in their day to come and spend this time with us.
Austin and Grandma Corless. We had lots of fun with everyone here and were sad to see the day end. The spirit was felt and it reminded all of us the wonderful blessing it is to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Congrats Austin!

Thank you for letting us be part of your special day, Austin. You made a wonderful decision and set such a good example for Ethan. Now, he is excited to be baptized when he turns eight. Thank you!

I loved that we also got to be a part of your special day, if nothing more then watching Austin enter the waters of baptism. PS I love his middle name, that was always one of our favorites before we had kids...hmmm maybe if it's a boy we'll consider! See you Thursday.
