We have really enjoyed looking out our window lately because a Robin has taken nest to our tree. We have watched her come and go with nesting materials and now this is what we found inside. 4 beautiful eggs!!! One was out on a branch below. Guess is wasn't a good one for her.
We have been watching her sit and sit and sit and sit and sit and sit. Yes many days of just sitting. If you notice the top right there is the daddy bird ( I assume) He decided to come around for just a little while and help out cause one of the little ones was born. We would see her stand up and look down and then sit again. Then they were both coming and going with food for her baby. We snuck out while they were both away and snapped this picture of the hungry little guy!
Oh..... How cute!!!!!!! You can see how hungry he is! WHERE IS MY FOOD!!!! I AM WAITING!!!! Sound like your kids??? Does mine.
The next day after a horrible storm rolled through that night the rest decided to enter the world also!!!!
They are sleeping here but mom has been busy cause they have to eat every 20 minutes but birds are a little nicer to their parents they sleep through the night!!!! How nice would that be???!! We are enjoying a little piece of this sweet sight of the new little baby birds. We can't wait to see them when they are a little bigger. I was reading about them and it says they might be hopping around the back yard while they are learning to be more independent. I just hope they are okay and the kids don't step on them or something!!!!
