Christmas Eve at our house we sat down and read a book to the kids, that is the story of Christ, that is also in the scriptures. We tried to explain the true meaning of Christmas and that giving is part of that. We also talked about the rules of receiving. At least we thought we could give this year a good try that maybe they might be a little more appreciative of all the things that they got.

Dad reading away.

Christmas morning they were up bright and early at 6:15 a.m. They were able to go to their stockings and what did they find their favorite sugar cereal. Guess Santa thought that they were a little too hyped up on totally pure sugar lately. Maybe a few extra vitamins can't hurt.

Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa opening their stockings.

Then on to the good stuff!!

Branden with his new ladybug bath towel. Now he can be cozy warm!

Wow!! Branden got a new scooter that can make his brothers jealous. Watch out I already see Kaden eying it.

A different Grandma and Grandpa helping out with the assembly of all the new toys!!! Lots of new things and lots of time from the older half to get them all up and working!!! We all really enjoyed ourselves and had a relaxing day. We enjoyed all the family that was able to come and visit. We are grateful for the season and all that it brings. We hope everyone enjoyed their time as well. We are grateful for our Savior and all that he has done for us to allow us to return to our Heavenly Father again!!
